General Art Galleries and Museums
- Google Arts and Culture: Talk about a vast collection of high-resolution images from museums worldwide. This even includes virtual tours of famous galleries. Talk about being there, without being there. Then you can really prioritize that next trip. This is remarkable for historical and cultural art display and appreciation.
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) Open Access: This is a one place source that provides access to an extensive and massive collection of artworks, all within the public domain.
- The Louvre Online Collections: To say this is our favorite is an understatement. We have been here several times and plan on going again and again. It is absolutely the best. You can go here and Explore famous artifacts, paintings, and sculptures from the Louvre Museum. Best part is, unlike myself you won’t be asked to leave at closing time.
Creative Platforms for Artists
- DeviantArt: A massive community of independent artists showcasing digital and traditional artwork.
- Behance: A professional art-sharing platform by Adobe, featuring high-quality portfolios in illustration, graphic design, and more.
- ArtStation: A hub for digital artists, concept artists, and 3D designers.

- Instagram Art Hashtags and Profiles: This is all about the hashtags. Simply Searching hashtags like #DigitalArt, #FineArt, #Illustration, #AbstractArt is all you need to do to allow you to find and share contemporary artists. Especially the Newer Ones that have yet to be discovered.
- WikiArt: As you would only expect from Wiki, this is a comprehensive online encyclopedia of visual art. Bring access to classic to modern works.
Community-Based Art Sharing
- Reddit r/Art: The more we use reddit the more we find ways to love it. Though you sure can get lost in the weeds. A highly active and yet “open to communicate all things” community where users post and discuss different forms of artwork.
